Prenatal Lactation Consultation

First time parent? I recommend one prenatal lactation consultation for you. Not your first time, but have a history of low milk supply or painful latch? Prenatal lactation consultations can help you sort out how to approach lactation with your new little one in order to avoid breastfeeding problems. We discuss how breastfeeding or chestfeeding can fit into your unique life, with its constraints and supports.

I can help you figure out what might be going on and manage your milk production. If your baby is not able to do full feedings at the breast, we can build a supplementation and action plan to help you and your baby get there. Oversupply is tricky, and you don’t have to manage it on your own. I can help you build a plan to keep both you and baby comfortable during and between feedings.
